Fact: Until 1997 Oregon was one of only FOUR states Nationally that did not provide its resident Medal of Honor recipients with distinctive vehicle license plates. In 1997 Colorado School students conviced legislatures in Kansas and Colorado to provide such plates to their resident recipients. Schools or other persons interested in pursuing this matter in Oregon are encourage to contact the webmaster for more information.
