The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pride in presenting the Medal of Honor (Posthumously) to Color Sergeant Benjamin Frank Falls, United States Army, for extraordinary heroism on 3 July 1863, while serving with Company A, 19th Massachusetts Infantry, in action at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, for the capture of the flag.
