For fulfillment with distinction the obligations of inactive Coast Guard Reservists for a three-year period.

The requirements are similar to those for the Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal awarded to active duty personnel.  This award replaces the Coast Guard Reserve Meritorious Service Ribbon.
