Leon H. Ackerman

The Navy Cross is awarded to Lieutenant Leon H. Ackerman, U.S. Navy (Reserve Forces), for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service while in command of the U.S.S. John Graham engaged in the important and hazardous work of clearing the North Sea of mines.
