George S. Dole

The Navy Cross is awarded to Lieutenant (j.g.) George S. Dole, U.S. Navy (Reserve Forces), for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service while in command of the U.S.S. C-354, engaged in the important and hazardous work and clearing the North Sea of mines.
