Timothy County

The Navy Cross is presented to Timothy County, Electrician Third Class, U.S. Navy, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service when the S.S. Acoma was sinking in the hurricane on February 10 and 11, 1919. Country remained at his post and transmitted and received messages under the most trying conditions.
