Herve M. Brelivet

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Herve M. Brelivet, Warrant Officer, French Army, for extraordinary heroism in action near Sivry-Sur-Meuse, France. Bravely leading a platoon of the front line, Adjutant Brelivet afforded valuable assistance to an American regiment during the course of the advance. While progressing he was severely wounded. He took a prominent part in all advances made by his organization during the entire war and his courage and bravery was at all times an inspiration to his comrades.
