Marcel A. E. Haumant

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Marcel A. E. Haumant, Marechal des Logis, French Army, for extraordinary heroism in action near Dancourt, France, September 15, 1918. While reconnoitering near the Bois-des-Hante, Epines, Marechal Haumant led his platoon in an attack on a hostile strong point and captured ten prisoners.
