Vietnam War - Navy Cross

Listed below are the recipients of the Navy Cross awarded for valor during the Vietnam War. The US military became involved in 1965 as a support to the South Vietnamese who wished to remain independent from the communist government of North Vietnam. It was 1973 when the US military operations left Vietnam and our POWs were released.

There are 127 recipients from the Navy, Army and Foreign Service and 363 recipients from the Marine Corps.
