    The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Corporal Harrison Clark, United States Army, for extraordinary heroism on 2 July 1863, while serving with Company E, 125th New York Infantry, in action at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Corporal Clark seized the colors and advanced with them after the Color Bearer had been shot.
