Hugh G. Campbell

The Navy Cross is awarded to Ensign Hugh G. Campbell, U.S. Navy, for distinguished service in the line of his profession as a pilot of airplanes, in which capacity he showed exceptional daring and fought several times within the enemy’s lines, attacking at low altitudes.
