James H. Warner

The President of the United States takes pleasure in presenting the Silver Star Medal to James H. Warner (0-92816), Captain, U.S. Marine Corps, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action during the period from October 1967 through June 1969, while being confined as a Prisoner of War. By his courage, aggressive fighting spirit and steadfast devotion to duty in the face of extreme personal danger, Captain Warner upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
