Linn H. Farish

The President of the United States takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Linn H. Farish (0-884213), Major, U.S. Army, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving with the 2667th Regiment, Office of Strategic Services, in action against enemy forces from 16 April 1944 to 16 June 1944. Major Farish’s intrepid actions, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the United States Army.
