Patrick Francis Bresnahan

The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Watertender Patrick Francis Bresnahan, United States Navy, for extraordinary heroism in the line of his profession while serving on board the U.S.S. Kearsarge at the time of the accidental ignition of powder charges in the forward 13-inch turret 13 April 1906.
