The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Ronald E. Fisher, Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army, for extraordinary heroism in action at Peruka Utig’s Cotta, Philippine Islands, may 3, 1905. In a hand-to-hand fight in a trench in the jungle, Lieutenant Fisher killed three Moros and cleared the trench.
