Russell F. Coash

The Navy Cross is awarded to Quartermaster First Class Russell F. Coash, U.S. Navy (Reserve Forces), for distinguished service in the line of his profession as an observer in an airplane flight over the North Sea. On August 13, 1918, he released bombs which seriously damaged a submarine.
