John H. Moses

The President of the United States takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to John H. Moses (0-706629), Second Lieutenant (Air Corps), U.S. Army Air Forces, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy in action against enemy forces on 18 September 1944, in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. Second Lieutenant Moses’ unquestionable valor in aerial combat, at the cost of his life, is in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflects great credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
