Henri Ravisse

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Henri Ravisse, Captain, French Army, for extraordinary heroism in action near Montsec, France, September 13, 1918. Riding ahead of his lines, under most terrific fire, Captain Ravisse established and maintained liaison with the nest American division. On many occasions he rendered most valuable assistance to the allied armies, undertaking most perilous missions to insure communications between troops.
