Jean Emile Rault

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to Jean Emile Rault, Captain, French Army, for extraordinary heroism in action near Haudiomont, France, September 26, 1918. In making a local attack in the Bois-de-Manheulles, Captain Rault, by skillful maneuvering, succeeded in cutting off the retreat of an entire company of the enemy.
