R. Quinton

The Distinguished Service Cross is presented to R. Quinton, Lieutenant Colonel, French Army, for extraordinary heroism in action near Blanc Mont, France, October 3 – 17, 1918. During the attack on Blanc Mont, Lieutenant Colonel Quinton, undeterred by heavy shell fire, personally made reconnaissances to the front each day and secured information of the enemy to determine locations for his batteries.
