The Philippine Liberation Medal is a military award of the Republic of the Philippines which was created by an act of the Philippine Congress on May 12, 1946. The medal was awarded to any member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines or an allied nation who participated in the liberation of the Philippines from Japanese occupation during World War II.
