Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal

The Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal is awarded to Marines in recognition of their service and commitment to the Marine Corps Reserve. The medal is awarded to Marines who have completed at least eight years of honorable service in the Reserve, and who have been selected for promotion to the next higher grade.
